Parabilis Space Technologies, Inc. announced that it was awarded a NASA SBIR contract and a NASA STTR contract for the development of two innovative propulsion systems.
The SBIR award is to develop a liquid oxygen/liquid methane RCS-class thruster manufactured as a monolithic structure using 3D printing processes. This work will be performed in collaboration with Orbital Technologies Corporation of Madison, WI, a subsidiary of Sierra Nevada Corporation.
The STTR award is to develop a printed-grain hybrid upper stage for a dedicated CubeSat and NanoSat launch vehicle. This work will be performed in collaboration with Utah State University of Logan, UT.
