NASA Selects Parabilis to Develop Propulsion Test Device

Parabilis Space Technologies, Inc. of San Marcos, CA today announced it has been selected by NASA to develop a wireless transducer acquisition device that will meet NASA’s need for advanced propulsion test technology. The battery-powered Blue Tooth device will allow for remote, wireless reading of pressure transducers.

According to Dr. Shannon Eilers, Principal Engineer at Parabilis and Principal Investigator for this program, “This will significantly increase testing operations efficiency while increasing safety within potentially hazardous propulsion test environments. It can be used with any common Bluetooth-enabled device such as a laptop or mobile phone.”

During the first phase of this program, Parabilis will create and test a breadboard prototype of the unit as well as begin work on a compact field-ready unit for production in a subsequent Phase II effort.
